Gudi Padwa and Ugadi

Gudi Padwa and Ugadi

Festivals are at the heart of people in India. We celebrate festivals all year round. Due to the vast cultural and religious diversity, there are a lot of different names for different festivals.

Gudi Padwa is celebrated by Maharashtrians, marking the beginning of a new year, on the next day Ugadi is celebrated as a new year in the South region of India. Ugadi and Gudi Padwa are both celebrated for the same reasons but in different ways.

We live in a such a busy world that we seldom are free to spend time with our family.

Let’s change it this year and be with our family every chance we get. This year, Gudi padwa falls on a Tuesday and most of us have a holiday on that day, there are ample of things one could do and places one could go with their families.
After all, Vacation doesn't have to be a week long. It could just last a day, spent with our families. So let us make the most of this day and have a new beginning.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Gudi Padwa and Ugadi.

Things to do: Paragliding in Kamshet,
                      Camping Adventure in Palghar,
Revdanda Beach Camping and much more.
